Youth Ministry

FBC Youth Ministry is a vibrant community where students are challenged to know God deeply, live boldly, and share the hope of Jesus confidently. We exist to glorify God by grounding our lives in His Word and celebrating His transcendent nature—His holiness, power, love, and uniqueness above all else.

Our ministry is committed to helping students grow in sanctification, encouraging personal holiness that shapes everyday decisions, relationships, and purpose. Through discipleship, worship, teaching, and authentic community, we walk alongside young people as they learn what it means to follow Christ wholeheartedly.

Driven by the Great Commission, FBC Youth equips and sends students to impact their schools, neighborhoods, and the world with the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe God is at work in the next generation, and we are passionate about seeing students transformed by the power of the gospel—knowing Him, living for Him, and going for Him.

WEEKLY GATHERINGS

Sundays • 3-5pm

FBC Youth is a place where students belong, grow, and are challenged to follow Jesus with their whole lives. We gather every week from 3:00–5:00pm, beginning in the Worship Center and then moving to the Youth Building, creating an environment that is welcoming, engaging, and centered on God’s Word.

At the heart of FBC Youth is biblical teaching. We are committed to faithfully teaching the Bible because we believe Scripture is the living and active Word of God that has the power to change hearts and transform lives. Each week, students are taught directly from the biblical text—learning not only what the Bible says, but how to read, understand, and apply it to everyday life. Our teaching is most often passage-based and always aligned with what we believe and teach as a church. Rather than relying on trends or opinions, we trust God’s Word to do the work it was intended to do, as the Holy Spirit uses Scripture to convict, encourage, and grow students in genuine faith.

Our gatherings also include worship, where students sing together and fix their hearts on who God is through songs that reflect biblical truth and sound theology.

Following the teaching time, students break into Small Groups, with middle school and high school students meeting separately, and further divided between guys and girls. These groups provide a safe and intentional space for students to ask questions, talk through the message, and apply biblical truth in a more personal way while building meaningful relationships with caring youth leaders.

And because community matters, fun is part of what we do. Each week includes games and activities designed to help students connect, laugh, and build friendships in a welcoming and encouraging environment.

Whether a student is new to church or has grown up in it, FBC Youth is a place to grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and learn what it means to follow Christ together.

WINTER RETREAT

Every January

Get away from the noise and step into a weekend designed to refresh your faith and strengthen your friendships.

The FBC Youth Winter Retreat is a highlight of the year, offering students the chance to unplug from everyday routines and focus on Christ in a beautiful Pacific Northwest winter setting. Surrounded by towering evergreens and crisp mountain air, students will experience a weekend centered on God, community, and spiritual growth.

Throughout the retreat, students will hear dynamic, Scripture-centered preaching that challenges and encourages them to grow deeper in their faith. Each session is paired with powerful worship, creating space to reflect, respond, and praise God together.

Of course, no great retreat is complete without good food and plenty of time to enjoy it together. Meals and free-time moments provide natural opportunities for conversation, laughter, and connection.

One of the greatest strengths of Winter Retreat is the emphasis on fellowship. Through group activities, shared meals, worship gatherings, and downtime, students build meaningful relationships with one another and with their leaders in an environment that feels both fun and intentional.

Whether it’s your first retreat or a tradition you look forward to every year, Winter Retreat is a weekend that challenges hearts, builds community, and points students toward Christ—all while creating memories that last long after the snow melts.

STEADFAST NW

Every Other February

Steadfast NW is a multi-church youth conference at Spring Creek Bible Church in Bellingham, WA where students ages 12-19 come to hear expository preaching, sing Christ-exalting music, play fun games, and enjoy meaningful fellowship with others in their same season of life.

CAMP REGENERATION

Every July

Camp Regeneration is a high school summer camp hosted by Grace Community Church and held on the beautiful campus of Glorieta, New Mexico. Each summer, high school students from churches across the country gather for a week that is intentionally designed to center their hearts on Christ, deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and build lasting relationships.

At the heart of Camp Regeneration is faithful, expository preaching. Students sit under clear, Christ-centered teaching as experienced pastors carefully explain and apply Scripture in ways that connect directly to the realities of high school life. Our prayer and purpose is that students would come to salvation in Jesus Christ and grow in a deeper knowledge of who He is and what it means to follow Him.

Throughout the week, students also participate in worship that points them to Christ and encourages a thoughtful, biblical response to God’s truth. Teaching and worship are complemented by small-group discipleship, where students have the opportunity to process what they are learning, ask questions, and grow alongside their peers and leaders.

Camp Regeneration also believes that sound biblical teaching and genuine fun belong together. The week is packed with high-energy team games, outdoor activities, and shared experiences that create space for laughter, fellowship, and meaningful connections. From intense competitions to relaxed moments around campus, students experience a community that is both joyful and purposeful.

Camp Regeneration is more than just a summer event—it is a week focused on spiritual renewal, gospel clarity, and authentic Christian community. It’s a camp where students are challenged by God’s Word, encouraged by relationships, and invited to respond to the life-changing truth of the gospel.
